    The business was started by Sandra Powers-Booth, who developed it into one of the premier small group agencies in the Northwest. We actively participate in State and National Organizations to insure that the most current insurance products are offered and that legislative information is up to date.

    Strategic Planning

    We will help you develop Employee Benefits Plans that meet the desires of our clients in relationship to aligning corporate budgets, goals and employee needs.

    Pre-renewal Meetings

    • Project estimated renewal rate actions.
    • Examine industry trends in plan design, legislative, constraints, and cost impacts.
    • Review optional plan designs to meet short and long range client objectives.
    • Determine additional coverage needs.

    Renewal Analysis

    • Review rate action for appropriateness.
    • Request alternative plan designs.
    • Summarize plan changes being made by carriers upon renewal.
    • Negotiate renewal with insurance carriers and/or other vendors.
    • Analyze cost impact should changes be adopted to programs.

    Renewal Finalization

    • Communicate final plan design and rates to carriers/vendors.
    • Assist client with completion of Group Master Applications and other enrollment forms.
    • Conduct group meetings, provide employee communications and enrollment materials.

    Requests for Proposals

    • Create bid specifications, along with a client-specific carrier questionnaire.
    • Meet with client to review bid specifications and questionnaire for appropriateness.
    • Submit RFP to selected carriers, Third Party Administrators and/or vendors.
    • Prepare a comprehensive bid analysis of quoted rates, fees, benefits, and questionnaire responses.
    • Conduct a network provider match summary to ensure adequate coverage in each location.
    • Review analysis with client, including recommendations.

    • Review contracts, booklets, and amendments provided by carriers and other vendors.
